Classed as old analogue technology but still does the job for most businesses today.

ISDNĀ Lines

Integrated Services Digital Network

This is the next level up from PSTN and is the standard for digital phone lines. The benefits of having an ISDN service is ISDN lines will deliver simultaneous calls on the same phone number and are generally suited to businesses. Small business would have ISDN 2 services whereas larger business may have or require more lines such as ISDN 10/20 or 30 Lines.

ISDN lines keep customer voice and data traffic separate.

VoIP & SIP Trunking

SIP is where traditional phone calls are run over your internet or a network connection. SIP connections are generally allot cheaper than traditional PSTN or ISDN services. The level of technology re IP handsets combined with much larger/ cheaper/ networks connections means having a SIP voice solution these days is the way to go!

You will need to have a SIP/ NBN compatible phone system to take advantage of using SIP.
